CHYK Center Spotlight
CHYK New York
The CHYK / Setukari study group in New York City is a group of young professionals who are seeking to practice spirituality in their daily lives and stay steady amidst the dynamic city. The class incorporates elements of both discourse and interactive group discussions guided by Brni. Shubhani Chaitanya. The youth also engage in several projects such as creating reflection books and relay jnana yajnas which give them a chance to delve deeper in the meaning of our scriptures. Many of them also actively teach Bala Vihar in New York City and volunteer in special events and retreats. This year, the group will meet in a hybrid format to explore Pujya Gurudev’s text Meditation & Life.
